Portrait Of A Green Tiger Beetle

I love green tiger beetles (Cicindela campestris) , they are awesome insects and fearsome preadtors of ants. But the can be a real challange to photograph as they are incredibly skittish and generally will not let you get close. I more often see them as they are flying away from. But this one I found at Skipwith Common in late March which is early for a green tiger beetle and I'm making an assumption but I think it may have only just emerged as it was very reluctant to move allowing me to take several stacked images of it.
